Pros
- TrueSoft diffused light that flatters on calls
- USB-powered, no wall adapter
- Physical buttons plus G HUB software control
- Compact monitor clip with height, tilt and rotation
Cons
- Only 250 lm; weak as the only light in a dark room
- Small source can feel harsh up close for long sessions
- 1.5 m USB-A cable is short for some desks
- No Kelvin readout without software
Why it is on the owner's desk
Two small panels above the screen so video calls are lit from the front, not from the monitor. The question it answers for a buyer: How do you light video calls in a small room?
From the owner · T.R.
“Bought one in December 2025, then a second three months later once I saw what one did to the shadows on the other side of my face. Both clip to the top of the Dell beside the ScreenBar. Daytime, the window does most of the work; these matter from about 4 pm in a Victoria winter.”
Specs that matter
- 250 lumens, TrueSoft frameless diffuser
- 2700-6500 K, 5 brightness levels
- USB-A powered, detachable 1.5 m cable
