Why it is on the owner's desk
Holds the mic off the desk; swings in for calls. The question it answers for a buyer: Is a cheap boom arm good enough?
From the owner · T.R.
“Clamped to the right rear corner of the desk. The 280 g Wave:3 is well inside its limit; it holds position and the cable runs inside the arm.”
Specs that matter
- Load 1 kg
- Clamp 0.4-2.4 in
- 3/8 and 5/8 in threads
- Built-in cable management
Check before ordering
1 kg load limit: fine for a USB mic, not for an SM7B with a shock mount; reach is not published
